Same thing for every GMX-Mail customer, with the freemail option, it’s a 1 GB Drive (for mail and storage, but I’m using pop3, so the mails are always only a few mb.

Goal

Use two fingers to scroll horizontal and vertical on your touchpad (Apple-like)

Work to do

Creat a file /etc/hal/fdi/policy/11-synaptics-options.fdi with your favourite texteditor and insert the following code

If you don’t want to use the Facebook-chat plugin for kopete (crashes mine), you can simply use the jabber protocol to chat with your facebook buddies.

For opensuse (11.2) I installed the packages

	* qca
	* qca-devel
	* qca-sasl

and restarted kopete if it is already running.
After that, add a new xmpp/jabber acount with this settings:

The Hardware-RAID Controller from Adaptec 1210SA was nicely preconfigured and was well know by the openSUSE Installer. Installation with a RAID-1 worked perfect, until the Bootloader Installation. Either Grub nor Lilo could be installed in the RAID, they don’t found the right device. Even a openSUSE Rescuesystem won’t work. The solution was to boot from the SUPER-GRUB-DISC and install the Bootloader from here.

Trouble

Some KDE 3.5.x Versions did not work well when trying to use the kdesu command. We had a modified /etc/sudoers in our lab-enviroment, so we had to force the tool, to use the su command instead.

Sollution

~/.kde/share/config/kdesurc
[super-user-command]
super-user-command=su

Or easier with the tool kwriteconfig
